I love Costa Rican coffee and this is what I got with my Pura Vida order. I will be ordering again and again as well as trying out some of the smaller batch specialty options.

I’m a cold coffee drinker most often. We decided to try the Peruvian out this way. It is delicious both hot and as a cold brew.

The coffee was amazing, tasted fresh and spells delightful. Out side of the coffee, the hat and mug I purchased were high quality, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to hats and they exceeded my expectations.

But most importantly the follow up and care taken by the team at Pura Vida Roasting. Keeping me up to date with timelines and confirming receipt of product once it was delivered, checking that the quality of what I received met my expectation. Top notch customer service. The art of taking care of customers the way they do is hard to come by these days and greatly appreciated. Styling with my hat it,s made really well the brim is nice and solid for my morning walk keep those spf,s off of my face and then home for my Pura Vida cup of coffee.

This Costa Rican blend is so smooth and so aromatic I could smell it before I even opened the box my trick is to use 2 coffee filters it comes close to how Costa Rican coffee is made in the slow drip style. Yea iit,s a bit more then I spend bu t I deserve a great cup of joe.

I am so into this tea it has just enough kick to feel awake but it,s so smooth going down it leaves me ready to go and tackle my day.

I’m a former barista and self proclaimed coffee snob, being from the heavily saturated and fastidiously fussy coffee scene in the Seattle area. I know good coffee, I know what it takes to make good coffee, and I’m quite selective of the coffee I purchase. I gave Pura Vida’s Peru and Costa Rica blends a try and… you guys… I can not properly express how wonderful they both are. This review is specifically for Peru - this blend has a warm and earthy aroma, and such a beautifully smooth and satisfying body. Despite the soft fragrant earthy aroma, I get an awesome kick of nutty and slightly spicy notes upon sipping. When I pulled an espresso shot, the crema, which truly enhances the flavor, was perfectly creamy and thick. I wish I would have taken a picture of it! I didn’t find any sourness or bitterness to this blend, and it makes a beautiful iced coffee, pour over, and espresso. I’m a huge fan and I highly recommend Pura Vida Coffee. Especially the Peru blend!
